The tailor specializes its production in outdoor clothing and creates "the gabardine", a waterproof fabric, which quality and fabrication process has been improved thanks to a sheperd. At the beginning of the 1900s, expeditions to Alaska, Mount Everest prove and enable to improve the quality of the jackets and clothes. The "trench coat" is born by providing Officer's coats for the World War I. The famous brand's tartan which is its own design and not related to a clan was 1st used as the linen of coats and jackets.
