History

Giorgio Armani, Italian designer, after having worked for La Rinascente and redesigned Cerruti menwear in the mid-1960's, created his own brand in 1975. Talented multifaced designer, Armani creates Haute-Couture, ready-to-wear clothes, home furnishing, perfumes and accessories. Armani also created the costumes of American Gigolo or The Intouchables, for actresses such as Jodie Foster and designed the costume of the very famous bullfighter Ordonez. He also designs for Lady Gaga. In 2000, the Guggenheim Museum in New York exhibited Armani's work - first ever of a living designer. Armani is the first designer to ban models with a body index under 18.

Jacket

In 1975, Armani designed a jacket excluding shoulder pad and inner-coat. The jacket is still very succesfull.
