A rare luxury brand still independant and discreet... François GOYARD at the death of its Ceo founder, takes control of the house originally founded by Pierre-François Martin in 1792 where he learnt all the know-how from the founder. The house renamed GOYARD is specialised in custom-made trunks, packing cases, and any wraping or packaging of fragile items. It is the oldest one in Paris. His son, Edmond, develops a luxury approach of services and pieces, dedicated to international clients. He creates the signature of the brand, the waterproof fabric "goyardine" and develops items for pets and cars. Then François focuses on monitoring all the manufacturing process. The house is an exception in the luxury industry, as its awareness and success is strictly linked with its know-how in a single product family.
