The story of five generations of perfumers begins in 1828 with Pierre François Pascal GUERLAIN, doctor and chemist, who opens his first boutique in Hotel Meurice in Paris. He creates cosmetic products, soaps, creams, as well as perfumes, the first lip balm "Automatisme", the first lipstick "Ne m'oubliez pas" is launched in the 1970s. Personalisation and fine fragances bring him prestigious clients and then reputation. He creates Eau Impériale (Imperial Water) for French Empress Eugénie. The design of the bottle is inspired by the colonne Vendôme, and its 69 golden bees represent the emblem of Napoléon III's Empire. Bees are now icons of the house and Eau Impériale is still one of its cult products. The first Beauty salon is unveiled in 1939 and Guerlain's spas are now accessible in exclusive places all over the world. LVMH's acquisition in 1994 ends the family's saga . The House is member of COMITE COLBERT.

Shalimar is one of the mythical perfumes of the Maison created by Jacques Guerlain in 1925. Inspiration is India, Taj Mahal's love story and its name means "Temple of love" in Sanskrit. The fragance reveals iris, vanilla and tonka bean. | TRIANON IMPERIAL care is a complete treatment - body & face - especially created for Waldorf Astoria Hotel: Trianon Palace.
