Agitation in Geneva
The Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie or SIHH recently held its 28th edition, with six renowned names making their entrance: Hermès and at the Carré des Horlogers, Armin Strom, Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud, DeWitt, élégante by F.P.Journe and Romain Gauthier.
This brought the total amount of exhibitors to 35, with 18 Historic Maisons and 17 brands in the Carré des Horlogers.
Each January, this event, held in Geneva, Switzerland, becomes a place to meet, to exchange and to make new discoveries with, at its heart, the spotlighting of the latest creations in watchmaking.
Professionals and watch enthusiasts travelled all the way to Geneva from the 15th to 19th January for this highly regarded event in watchmaking. Members of the public were also once again able to purchase tickets for an open day on the 19th of January. SIHH allowed for a great deal of innovation this year again with amazing new concepts from watchmakers, such as the Ressence Type 2 e-Crown Concept.
SIHH has continuously managed to make a mark as the reference among international fine watch shows by building on a unique concept that fulfils the expectations of exhibitors and visitors alike. If you happened to have visited the show or plan to do so, feel free to mention it to us!
